This sparkling wine made from pecorino grapes is dedicated to Felice Peretti, born in Grottammare, in the Marche Region, on 13 December 1521 and died in Rome on 27 August 1590; SISTO V was the 227th Pope of the Catholic Church, elected April 24, 1585.
He was nicknamed, rightly, "the iron Pope". In fact, "Sisto, a true ruler, authoritarian, determined and inflexible, immediately began to restore order to the papal state using energetic repressive measures. Later he dealt with economic and financial reforms.
